I wanted to tell you how pleased I was to see that the Summerfield parking lots and walk ways were cleared so well when I arrived on Monday morning. (Where did they put all that snow??) I don’t know if it is you or Brad (perhaps both) who gets the kudos – but someone hired, supervised, and kept the “angels” working hour after hour and I sure appreciate everyone’s efforts! I trust the snow angels have sprouted their wings at this stage and can see us through the oncoming storms too!

Brad, I mentioned this to you earlier today, but thought I’d follow up with a note.

The maintenance staff has done a great job through this bout of severe weather.  We were able to get out of the complex at the end of the day Friday when the snowstorm began, and when we arrived yesterday morning it was as if the storm skipped right over the Summerfield Commons parking lot.  It was actually a pleasure to drive in the parking lot yesterday morning, after dealing with the horrendous roads to get here.  Even today the guys are answering our winter-related calls while clearing ice from sidewalks and handling their routine work.

Please pass this email onto Brad & Bill, I just want to commend Secon Corporation for their absolutely wonderful employees, especially in the maintenance department.

Ameriprise has been a tenant in Cedar Ridge since April 2005 and we have never had a problem that wasn't attended to.   I am usually the person to call when there is a maintenance issue with our suite, Secon has someone here in less than 24 hours, usually within hours to fix or maintain whatever the issue is.  All three of those men are very professional and efficient, they go about their business without disturbing the flow of our business.    And when it snows, someone is here to salt the roads and the sidewalks within an hour of the first snowflake.

Again, thank you to all at Secon for being so attentive to their property, we truly appreciate it.

I wanted to drop a short note regarding the excellent work that Tom does in the complex.  Yesterday, a light was burned out, Tom showed up within five minutes of my office making the call and then discovered that it was a much more involved problem that took over an hour and a half to complete.  All the while, Tom remains his usual cheery self.  One of the best aspects of having my office here is the attentiveness of the staff from Tom to the summer help.
